Trust & safety

Buying a puppy online should never feel risky

Puppy scams follow a predictable pattern. Our process is built specifically to remove every step a scam depends on.

Delivery standards

  • We are delivery-only: every puppy is hand-delivered to your door anywhere in the US.
  • Travel is in a temperature-controlled vehicle with a dedicated chaperone and regular comfort stops.
  • Your delivery window, route and chaperone details are confirmed in writing before travel.
  • You receive photo updates on the day, and puppies never travel in cargo.

Documentation standards

  • Health records are dated and name the veterinary practice that carried out each item.
  • Vaccination entries list the product used and the date administered.
  • Microchip numbers are shared in writing and registered in your name at handover.
  • Parent information is described honestly, including approximate weights.

Payments we accept — and refuse

  • Accepted: traceable, receipted payment methods with a written invoice.
  • Never accepted: gift cards, cryptocurrency, or wire transfers to an individual's account.
  • Never accepted: payments marked 'friends and family' to avoid buyer protection.
  • No payment is requested before your written agreement and health records are in your inbox.

Written agreements

  • A purchase agreement and health guarantee are sent before any deposit.
  • Deposit terms, refund conditions and delivery dates are all in writing.
  • Delivery costs are quoted in advance; there are no surprise fees afterwards.
  • You may have the agreement reviewed by anyone you like before signing.

Red flags

Warning signs to watch for anywhere online

These apply to any breeder or listing, including ours. If a seller fails these tests, walk away.

Refusing to put delivery arrangements, dates or costs in writing.
Pressure to pay a deposit today or 'lose' the puppy.
Requests for gift cards, crypto, or wire transfers to a person.
Prices far below the market for the breed.
Stock-looking photos that reverse-image-search to other websites.
New fees appearing after the deposit — a special crate, insurance, customs.
No written agreement, or a refusal to send one before payment.
