How nationwide puppy delivery works
We deliver only by temperature-controlled ground vehicle, door to door, to all 48 contiguous US states. There is no pickup and no delivery fee — our family plans the route, rest and feeding stops and confirms the date in writing.
Can Bulldogs fly in cargo?
Many airlines refuse French and English Bulldogs in cargo because flat-faced breeds face higher heat and breathing risks. Ground transport with climate control is the safer choice.
Interstate travel requirements
Most states require a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (health certificate) issued within a set number of days before travel, plus rabies vaccination for older puppies. Puppies should be at least eight weeks old before leaving their mother.
Deposits: what is normal and are they refundable?
Deposits commonly run a few hundred dollars up to a portion of the price. Ours range from $500 to $850 and never exceed the puppy's price. Refund rules should be written into your agreement before you pay.
Safe payment methods
Use traceable methods and get a written receipt. Never pay by gift card, cryptocurrency or to an unrelated third party, and be wary of sudden 'insurance', 'crate' or 'customs' fees.
How to verify an online breeder or puppy website
Check that the seller names a verifiable business, answers specific questions about an individual puppy, provides records you can verify with the clinic, and puts terms in writing. Reverse-search photos and be skeptical of testimonials that cannot be traced to named people.
Puppy breeder red flags
Unlimited 'available' puppies, pressure to pay today, refusal to share records, prices far below market, and payment requests through untraceable channels.
Questions to ask any breeder
Date of birth? Vet records and clinic name? Parent health screening? What does the agreement and health guarantee cover? How and when is delivery handled? What happens if I need to cancel?
