About the Maltipoo
The Maltipoo pairs the Maltese with the Toy Poodle, producing a small, silky-coated companion that bonds intensely with its family.
They are affectionate to the point of being velcro dogs, happiest when included in everything. That closeness is their charm and also the trait to manage — start independence training in week one.
Maltipoos are sensitive to tone. Reward-based training works beautifully; harsh correction shuts them down. Their fine bones mean jumping off furniture should be discouraged while they are growing.
